Illustrations for children's Poems by H. Levin - In addition to being a professional dramatist, Hanoch Levin is an accomplished writer and poet. I first came across Hanoch's Children's Poems accidentally. On a shelf in the library, hiding among children's books was a wild, unconventional  surprise. One quick glance was sufficient to reveal , that the book was never intended for children. In his book, Levin reveals a painful truth about the nature of man, society, and Nature's cruel sentencing of man’s fate as expendable. Levin’s gift uses the death motif to convey his cynical and harsh criticism using naive language, lending a childish innocence to this book.
